Non-Executive Chairman

Michael is the Non-Executive Chairman of Scrubs Etc Limited and a founder investor in the company. He is a medical doctor by training and an experienced executive in the pharmaceutical industry. Most recently Michael was Chief Executive Officer of Sinclair Pharma plc, having led its formation in August 2000 following a management buy-in of Sinclair Pharmaceuticals Limited. Between 1998 and 2000, he privately acquired the rights to a portfolio of products, which he brought to the Sinclair Pharma Group. Michael has spent over 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry and has served on the Board of Directors of approximately 30 private companies involved in the healthcare sector. Michael was elected a Fellow by Distinction of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians in 2001 and qualified as a physician from Kings College Hospital, London

Amanda Ling, M.A (Hons), ACIBS, MCIBS

Chief Executive Officer 

Amanda is the CEO of Scrubs Etc Limited, having started the original concept behind the ScrubsUK.com ‘philosophy’ in 2009. After graduating from the University of Glasgow with a Joint Honours Master of Art in Economics and Management; She immediately joins the world of banking to become an Associate  and finally a Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland. Amanda started her career as a Corporate Banker, handling the funding requirements of High Growth Start ups, SMEs and Corporate businesses. Runner up Young Banker of the Year 2002, she soon established her profile in the Industry as someone innovative and determined. Eventually in 2007 she decided to broaden her experience and started her own business as a consultant in large commercial and residential property projects.
In 2011, she becomes one of the founder of what is now Nova Medical Solutions. In September 2015 Nova Medical Solutions acquires CMS Medical Ltd, a company that specialises in first aid consumables and the manufacturing of various health and cosmetic products.

Leslie Morgan, OBE DL, BPharm (Hons), FRPharmS

Non-Executive Director


Mr Leslie Morgan OBE DL currently serves as CEO of Durbin PLC.  After graduating from London University with an honours degree in Pharmacy, he became a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. Leslie joined the small retail pharmacy, B&S Durbin Ltd, in 1976 as the Pharmacist Manager and developed the export side of the business soon after as International Sales Director. He travelled widely, sourcing medicines and meeting new customers from around the world.
 
In 1999, Leslie bought the company, changed the name to Durbin PLC and proceeded to build one of the world’s leading specialist pharmaceutical and medical distributors supplying 23,000 different products to 180 countries. Durbin PLC continues to expand and now in the UK, it has a 115-strong workforce of pharmacists, nurses, medical engineers, commercial executives and warehouse/freight staff located across 5 premises (including 36,000 square feet of warehousing) and 8 separate divisions including Clinical Trials Supply, the management of Managed Access Programmes and Family Planning Supplies. Durbin also handles storage and distribution for a number of third-parties. Leslie has pioneered the donation of excess in-date pharmaceuticals and medical supplies to various charities in developing countries and to date, over £22 million worth of stock has been donated free, via Durbin PLC, to patients in need.
 
In November 2002, Leslie bought the trading arm of the charity ECHO International Health Services . In December 2014 Durbin purchased: http://www.ptsi-usa.com/ - which is a US pharmaceutical wholesaler.
  Leslie is an Honorary Visiting Fellow at Cass Business School, City University London, specialising in lecturing on philanthropic issues. He also works with several banks and other financial companies to promote entrepreneurial giving. Leslie is Chairman of The Morgan Charitable Foundation and a Liveryman with The World Traders as well as The Blacksmiths.

In 2013, Leslie was awarded an OBE in the New Year Honours list for services to the Pharmaceutical Industry and to Charity. He was also elected a Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society later that year and he is also a Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London.

Tony Ahearne

Non-Executive Director

Tony is a Non-Executive Director of Scrubs Etc Limited and a founder investor in the company. He is also Managing Director of Anthony, Bryant & Company (Investment) Consultants Limited, having founded the Company in 1975. Anthony Bryant is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority and the company act as financial advisers to a range of clients, including the Finnish, German, Luxembourg and Swiss Embassies and their institutions in the UK.  Tony is also a director of Moneyspider a web based financial monitoring service for private clients and covering the full range of unit trusts and investment trusts in the UK.

Brad Marcus

Financial Controller

Brad joined the company December 2014. He brings a wealth of experience to our team, having previously worked at Xenetic Biosciences Plc in a similar role. He was previously involved in the integration of overseas subsidiaries into the accounting and group consolidation process as well as implementing and streamlining of effective internal controls within all departments.

 

Hayley Bell

Senior Commercial Relationship Manager

Hayley joined our team in 2013, and brings 10 years experience working for an emergency supplies and medical consumables company, as the main office manager. Hayley is responsible for handling our commercial accounts and growing our commercial portfolio.

Craig Ball

Senior Field Sales Executive

Craig joined the company September 2014 as part of the Sales Team. Craig previously worked at Proact Medical, a company specialising in medical equipment and consumables. Craig is responsible for business development activities focusing mainly around the South of England. Craig also brings to the team an excellent relationship management background and expertise on medical equipment.
