Dr Michael Flynn   

Non-Executive Chairman

Dr Flynn is a medical doctor by training and an experienced executive in the pharma industry. Most recently, Dr Flynn was Chief Executive Officer of Sinclair Pharma plc, having led its formation in August 2000 following a management buy-in of Sinclair Pharmaceuticals Limited. Between 1998 and 2000, Dr Flynn privately acquired the rights to a portfolio of products, which he brought to the Group.The strategy employed by Sinclair Pharma was one of growth, both organically and through acquisition.  The evolution of the company has been impressive under the management of Dr Flynn; Company turnover was £30.4m in 2008/9 (from approx. £1.2m in 2000/1). Dr Flynn has spent over 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry and has served on the Board of Directors of approximately 30 private companies involved in the healthcare sector. Dr Flynn was elected a Fellow by Distinction of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians in 2001 and qualified as a physician from Kings College Hospital, London.

Anthony Ahearne
Non-Executive Director

Mr Ahearne is Managing Director of Anthony, Bryant & Company (Investment) Consultants Limited since founding the Company in 1975. Anthony Bryant is authorized and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Anthony Bryant & Co are financial advisers to the Finnish, German, Luxembourg and Swiss Embassies and their institutions in Great Britain.  Mr Ahearne is also a director of Moneyspider a web based financial monitoring service for private clients and covering the full range of unit trusts and investment trusts in the U.K.

In 1999, Leslie Morgan bought Durbin Plc and took on the role of Managing Director, heading up a small team which has now grown to an 80-strong workforce of pharmacists, nurses, medical engineers, commercial executives and warehouse/freight staff. In Nov. 2002 the trading arm of the charity ECHO International Health Services was bought - one of the leading UK suppliers of medical equipment and pharmaceuticals to healthcare professionals around the world. In the same month, we launched our unlicensed/'named-patient' medicine service - helping UK hospitals, retail chemists and dispensing GPs find medicines that are not available in the UK.

Amanda Ling M.A (Hons). MCIBS
Chief Executive Officer

Amanda is the CEO of Scrubs Etc Limited, having started the original concept in 2009. A Member of the Chartered institute of Bankers, Amanda started her career as a Corporate Banker, handling the funding requirements of High Growth Start ups, SMEs and Corporate businesses. Runner up Young Banker of the Year 2002, she soon establishes her profile in the Industry, as someone innovative and determined. Eventually in 2007 she decides to experience the other side of the coin, and starts her own business as a consultant in large Commercial and Residential property projects. In 2009, her multi-faceted experience is challenged anew with the creation of ScrubsUK.com. In May 2011, Scrubs Etc Limited is created with the existing board to harness a distinctive gap in the market for a ' one stop shop' supplier of healthcare consumables, quality and innotive health products, aimed at healthcare professionals and the general public.

All our Directors and staff have experience in the healthcare sector, some of us are lucky enough to be parents of beautiful children, and every single one of us recognise the importance of good health and great healthcare products!
